A deep rebated frame with spacers between the glass and back of the frame allowing for 3D objects to be affixed to the back of the frame. A shadow mount may be placed between the glass and spacers to hide the spacers. Alternatively a standard frame may be affixed to a manufactured open fronted box. This is suitable for very deep objects or where the item being framed is heavy and requires secure fixings.
